Mexican Rice Recipe

-1 Cup of rice
-2 1/2 Cups of WARM Water
-2 Garlic Cloves
-1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz)(I use the hunts brand)
-1 table spoon of chicken bouillon

Pot (with a lid that has a hole in it)

  1. Put a pot on the stove on medium heat
  2. Add the oil and rice to the pot
  3. Stir the rice consistently until the rice turns a golden brown color
  4. Lower the flame to low and keep mixing for a couple of minutes to allow the mixture to cool down
  5. Add the tomato sauce and chicken bouillon and stir to incorporate
  6. Add the garlic (I use a garlic press but you can mince the garlic)
  7. Add the water and stir once more
  8. Raise to medium heat until it comes to a boil
  9. When boiling add the lid and lower to low heat and let cook for 15 minutes (stir after 5 minutes)
  10. Turn off flame and let sit for 10 minutes
  11. Enjoy
