Recipe:
Ingredients:
-1 Cup of rice
-2 1/2 Cups of WARM Water
-2 Garlic Cloves
-1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz)(I use the hunts brand)
-1 table spoon of chicken bouillon
Materials:
Pot (with a lid that has a hole in it)
Steps
- Put a pot on the stove on medium heat
- Add the oil and rice to the pot
- Stir the rice consistently until the rice turns a golden brown color
- Lower the flame to low and keep mixing for a couple of minutes to allow the mixture to cool down
- Add the tomato sauce and chicken bouillon and stir to incorporate
- Add the garlic (I use a garlic press but you can mince the garlic)
- Add the water and stir once more
- Raise to medium heat until it comes to a boil
- When boiling add the lid and lower to low heat and let cook for 15 minutes (stir after 5 minutes)
- Turn off flame and let sit for 10 minutes
- Enjoy
