Ingredients
- 6 jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 1/4 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup water
Steps
- peel and chop the onion into 2 inch pieces
- cut the stem off the peppers and cut into 3 pieces
- in a large pan add the oil and preheat for 1-2 minutes on medium heat
- add the peppers, onion, garlic, and cook for 6-7 minutes. let cool completely before blending
- chop the bunch of garlic into smaller pieces (to make it easier to blend)
- add to the cilantro to the blender
- add the cooked ingredients, salt, and water in the blender
- blend starting on low speed until well combined
- put on low speed and slowly add in the oil until fully combined
- your salsa is ready
