Carne Asada Burrito


  • 2 pounds beef loin (aka carne ranchera)
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 lime
  • 4 burrito flour tortillas
  • Toppings: rice, beans, pico de gallo, salsa, guacamole, pico de gallo, cheese


  1. Create the marinade for the meat by combining the oil, salt, pepper, minced garlic cloves, and lime.
  2. Soak the meat in the marinade for at least 30 minutes
  3. In the meantime prepare toppings
  4. Heat up the tortillas in a large pan
  5. To assemble the burrito spread beans on the tortilla, add the meat, pico de gallo, rice, guacamole, salsa, and cheese
  6. Fold the burrito and heat the burrito in the pan once more to melt the cheese
  7. Enjoy!

This recipe makes 4 burritos when using the burrito tortillas and approx 8 regular sized flour tortillas
