Hello! My name is Alma. I am wife and mother of two girls. Since I was a young girl, I have been cooking for my family of 13 (yup, you heard that right: 7 brothers, 4 girls, and my parents). Of course with that big of a family I was never explicitly taught how to cook so I learned everything I know through watching my Aunts, Grandparents, and Mother prepare meals in my home country Mexico. Now that I am older, many of my friends and family have asked me how I cook my go to dishes and since it’s a lot easier to show then tell I decided to make this website with my recipes for anyone who would like it. For each recipe there will be a video with detailed follow along instructions from my youtube channel AlmasRecipes. Hope this helps some of you out.
